analisada na bacia do rio Negro. Foram utilizados dados de
estimativa de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o do projeto CHIRPS v.2 com
resolu{\c{c}}{\~a}o espacial de 0.05 graus. Observamos um
elevado contraste espacial na precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o sobre as
{\'a}reas de drenagens dos rios Negro e Branco. Foi identificada
maior influ{\^e}ncia do relevo sobre a climatologia de
precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o na {\'a}rea de drenagem dos escudos das
Guianas, principalmente nos tribut{\'a}rios do alto rio Branco e
na regi{\~a}o de forma{\c{c}}{\~a}o do rio Negro (Canal do
Casiquiare). Observamos uma baixa variabilidade espacial entre a
raz{\~a}o de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o m{\'a}xima e
m{\'{\i}}nima nas 25 sub-bacias avaliadas. Os dados utilizados
se mostraram adequados para estudos climatol{\'o}gicos de
regi{\~o}es pobremente monitoradas na bacia Amaz{\^o}nia.
ABSTRACT: The spatial variability of rainfall from 1981 to 2016
was analyzed in the Negro river basin. Precipitation estimation
data from the CHIRPS v.2 project with spatial resolution of 0.05
degrees were used. The results indicated a high spatial contrast
of precipitation over the drainage areas of the rivers Negro and
Branco. It was identified a greater influence of the relief on
precipitation climatology in the drainage area next to the Guiana
shields, mainly in the tributaries of the upper Branco river and
in the region of formation of the Negro river (Casiquiare
channel). A low spatial variability was observed between the
maximum and minimum precipitation ratio in the 25 sub-basins
evaluated. The data used are useful for climatic studies of poorly
monitored regions in the Amazon basin.",
